On the 23rd of November in 1963, a science fiction programme called
Doctor Who premiered. If you are reading this column, you probably
think that was a very good idea. BBC Radio 7
http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio7 celebrates the day with the last
scheduled new episode of their 8th Doctor season - available to hear
all over the world. I do not know if Doctor Who: Poshock will do a
live show on the 23rd (they already had episode 134 celebrating the
anniversary. If they do not, then CIA: Cultdom In Audio may do an
anniversary show.

Looking ahead at the schedules, UK Sarah Jane Adventures fans can
look forward to a weekday 7:30AM run on CBBC starting 8 December. US
Sarah Jane Adventures fans can see all of Series 1 on SciFi in the
daytime rotation slot (Tuesday 16 December 9:30AM to 4PM). As
December information comes in, it looks like an increasing number of
broadcasters are seeing the value of The Christmas Invasion, The
Runaway Bride, and Voyage Of The Damned as Christmas specials. Since
they are Christmas specials, this is good news. And on Christmas Day,
UK residents and anyone else who can pull in BBC One gets to enjoy
The Next Doctor, the newest Christmas episode.
